Scholarship Fund Update

We are excited about the scholarship program. Nine months ago it started as an idea. Today it is working! Let me explain how it is working. Most families have trouble paying the total cost of their family's enrollment at Victory. We carefully work with the family's "community" of resources, including their church, family, friends to see who might be able to help their family with our program. We also look at the family's budget and available resources. Once those avenues have been evaluated we look to our scholarship fund to see what we have available to help them. A scenario could look like this: total cost is $1,800 per month. The family can afford $700/month. They have a tax return coming that prorates out to $250/month. Their church supports Victory already at $100/month and that money is applied to their tuition bill. A few members of the church are told of the need and they help with $300/month. An Uncle gives $50/month. Once that is tabulated, the remaining need of $500/month is supplied through our Scholarship fund.

Two of our students are at Victory today being challenged and growing in character and spirit because the donors to our scholarship funds have made it possible. Perhaps you or your church could help with this fund to make it possible for more families to get the help they need at Victory.
